So you are in the backstage of the making of this little comic strip "What's up" Here are 5 things you didn't know about: I spent a good 20 min polishing her slippers on the first panel because in a way it was the star object of this comic strip. Draw This In Your Style
So I was thinking of remaking one of my old drawing from 2018 (Three years ago!) but instead, I think it would be fun to hold a Draw This In Your Style challenge and doing this together. I am not sure how many people will join this, but we are solely doing this for fun ^.^ Basically, those are the rules that won't change: Her design which is : It is a girl with medium length red hair, black eye color a tank with green stripes wearing a terrarium on her head. Don't change her pose too drastically but you can leave out the hands if you don't feel like too. 'By the Window' Creative process
This is the creative process of my illustration "By The Window". I think it is also a good way to keep track of my progress. Maybe sharing will inspire some of you. There might be a lot of talking but I will try to make it short. Indie (In the) Artist Mind: Before an illustration was an Idea. I knew I wanted something very bright, like an outdoor sunlight. Blue as a general atmosphere. A serene and peaceful illustration. My goal here was to play with the lightning and how it can affect the atmosphere of the illustration and give more depth to it. I wanted Nono to look friendly and her apparition a bit mysterious. Who is she, why is she here, at what is she looking at, where is she etc. Blocking form and base color At first, I blocked the base color, adding more details to the foreground and the background.
